Reflection

Last chapter of being a high school student is about to end and time went so fast.

ICT IV wasn’t that easy for me. I encountered many struggles in working on my requirements but I have no choice but to face it. Indeed, I became better in some ways because of the lessons I learned. And applying those, I can make my works a better one. I can say that ICT IV has contributed a lot on me. Because of it, I’ve discovered some things that will guide me in the future.

Perseverance and Patience are all worth it. Through these, I achieved success.

My Dream, My Future

Don’t you ever wish that you could set your own future?

I agree that dreams can be a double-edged sword. I believe that dreams can always be beneficial, healthy even. Dreams build character, determination, will power and motivation. Everyone needs to dream a little. Without dreams, you have no inspiration to strive and to work harder. You are lifeless, dull and lazy.

Yes, I dream for my future. I will build my goals for the future and set my aspirations. I’ll prioritize my goals, draw my plans and color my future.

“What a good start for me!” I said as I woke up and go to my work. I am now an Accountant! Really an Accountant! I can say that, because I am already dressed with my uniform. As I start on my work, I realized that I’d reached my dream. I’m working hard and still, the determination in my work is still in me. At the end of the day, I can’t say that I’m tired because I loved my work. Those paper works on my table are my inspirations to continue doing well on my work. And that’s all about my dream in the future.

Change: It Starts with Me

Everything Changes…

This time, I am thirsty for Change. And it will start with me. I’ll change for the better.

In every step we make, life changes. Experiences in the past will serve as our inspiration to become a better person. Having some adjustments in me may do a change. First the self-discipline, the greater my capacity for this, the more reward fall within my grasp. In this, I have the strength of mental courage to accomplish tasks, manage time, and relate effectively for others. Next, having a positive attitude and in this I can expect the best to happen. Lastly, the Perseverance that I will keep trying in spite of obstacles and discouragement.

Change starts with me. TRUE SUCCESS can only be measured at the end of our lives.

Reflection

Everything has come to an end.

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”

We’ve learned about HTML files on this quarter. Different tags were discussed and presented thoroughly. Facing the computer and working my activities on notepad was a cool and fun experienced of mine.

As we go through, we discover and learn more things. Let’s look and move forward for the last chapter in my High School journey.

New Year

Here’s to another 365 days of trying not to keep the resolutions we made, and filling blank spaces.

H-appy people, young and old alike, during this time of the year as new hopes they usually fell as they greet another year.
A-t this very start of the year, New Year resolutions are in the minds of everybody as they wish for better life.
P-eople all over the world are hoping for fresh and assuring days the whole year around.
P-romise to change all negative attitudes and habits, and welcome all constructive criticisms.
Y-early, everyone finds his best to improve as he turns over a new leaf; the advice for those who seek a change for the better as a new year sets in.

N-ow, it is the time to make a list of worthwhile ways you will carry on or continue and another list of ways you want to discard.
E-ffective, efficient, and loving servants we want to serve as models for all of us.
W-e should be more patient, understanding, kind and sincere in dealing with other people.

Y-ou and I hope that a promising new year generates in us renewed enthusiasm for change and we are on our way to a fresh start.
E-ncouragement is our key in pursuing our goal to make a better life.
A-ll of us must pray warmly and sincerely so the whole year will bring happiness to the world.

R-ise and shine, turns over a new leaf and we are thankful that we are still alive and actively participating in the activities in the community we live in.

True Essence of Christmas

Forgiveness and Love: The True Essence of Christmas

As December approaches, the Yuletide season can be felt in the air. There is a long preparation for the prestigious occasion, because in the last quarter of the year, people are busy thinking of the best present they could offer to their loved ones. Some are decorating their Christmas tree. Others are trying to be creative in creative in hanging their Christmas lights and lanterns. And you can hear Christmas carols everywhere. And to top this great event, Christmas would be less than complete without the famous tradition which is called “Simbang Gabi”. All of these Christmas activities play a significant role in our society. However, this question needs to be justified. Do we really celebrate Christmas with the real essence?

Christmas is not merely preparing gifts, food, decorating a Christmas tree and other symbols of Christmas. Christmas should not be focused on materials alone, but rather it must be done with deeper sense and meaning. In as much that we are honoring, celebrating, and glorifying the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We must be knowledgeable enough of the true essence of the celebration.

Christmas must be done with the spirit of forgiveness and love. These two words must go along most especially this season and even beyond. Forgiving someone’s mess is hard to do. It requires a lot of thinking before you finally decide. It is quite difficult to forgive someone. However, these can be forgotten if we put in our mind the true essence of it. As they say, once you forgive, definitely you love, and once you love, definitely you will forgive. Forgiving and loving is the ultimate present that we would offer to Jesus Christ this Christmas Season. Besides it will lighten our burden and it will establish some sort of glad feeling. God has created us, therefore, we must learn to forget the shadow of the past and let love and forgiveness reign in our humble heart. We must adopt Forget + Forgive = Love and Peace, and I assured that no single violent action could be done and our nation would probably become peaceful, loving, united, and a wonderful place to live in.

Now, why don’t we start the year by bearing good behavior and great values that will bring forth the best future. Forgiveness and love must be the center of Christmas Season. If you are still in the dark about forgiving, I dare you to come out, in the open, let the fire of love and forgiveness shine up our nation.

Merry Christmas and may the essence of Christmas, forgiveness and love shower upon us.
